General Update Post

Hi guys,

It's been a fair while since I last posted and the reason for that is my laptop died (admittedly after I spilled some tea on it) so I've been spending the last couple of weeks restoring and recovering as much stuff as I could onto my new laptop.

Glad to say I'm now at that point now, However the reviews and stuff I was writing up was mostly lost so it will take a little extra time to get those rewritten and posted here as well as the video versions for my YouTube channel (DarkNeroInfinity)

Lastly I now have a job to balance now and starting at some point tomorrow, I'll be starting streaming over on Twitch (DarkNeroInfinityV2) as well so thank you all for your patience and understanding.

An ALS Ice Bucket Challenge Appeared!!

At about 10am this morning, I got nominated to do the Ice Bucket Challenge to promote and spread awareness the effects of ALS or as it's better known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease.

So here's my video of when I did the challenge earlier today and hope its as entertaing as it is informative. Enjoy my friends :)

Quick Catch-up

Been somewhat neglecting my blog because I've been putting some time into my YouTube channel and other thing so here's a quick catch-up and it goes as follows:

• Went to Cheshire Oaks to see Godzilla (2014)
• YouTube account has been verified and now a partner :D
• Writing more for my own novel while writing reviews for various books and other stuff (soon to be featured here in written form & video versions on YouTube.
• Done my first two unboxing videos :)
• Got a job in Marks & Spencers ( I start next month.)

And in a nutshell, that's everything that has happened and fair to say that my life is on the up and everything is awesome.

My Thoughts on the Godzilla International Trailer and an Announcement

So Legendary has put out what I think is the last trailer that we will ever get for the upcoming Godzilla and of course I've done a video talking about it and I've also got an announcement which all you Kaiju fans will go head up heels over when you hear it and so you know it was released about two days ago but because of work I've only been able to get the word out tonight by this video and a post on my Facebook and Twitter.

Anyway here's my newest video and sorry if at times I seem to talk quietly and its because I've been dealing with a head cold this past week.

Progress Update

In my last post, I mentioned creating another build of the Meg: A Novel of Deep Terror audiobook but I've found out that the rips I used were not from a CD but an audio cassette and on trying for a couple of days now I've come to the conclusion that my original build is as close as I can get given the material available.
The main problem is the chapters bleed together too closely often resulting in a "jump" which overlaps and makes the transition sloppy so unless there's a CD based option that I could use I'm afraid the project is dead in the water which pains me because I'm a perfectionist when it comes to something I take time to put together

In other news, the primary work for the sequel audiobook The Trench is complete and thankfully in more better quality and with better structure and I hope to finish and upload it by the end of this week.

Finally in light of the Meg audiobook going belly up, I've decided to do Pacific Rim instead but with a twist which is to use stills from the film and concept art for chapter art.

Good/Bad idea?

A Quick Update

Just a quick update here,
I've been listening to the audiobook of Meg: A Novel of Deep Terror and realised that I've made some errors in the build like a chapter has been cut short etc and I'm currently working on a second build of the audiobook and will upload and replace the links when its finished and also I've managed to get hold of the sequel The Trench on audiobook which I'll also be building in the meantime along side with Meg: A Novel of Deep Terror.

Some extra stuff :)

Over the past week or so, I've started to read CreepyPastas and have become interested in the stories and how they are told. Some of the best read ones I've found are by MrCreepyPasta on YouTube and especially when he reads the CreepyPastas of Jeff the Killer so I taken the videos and downloaded only the ones that are canon to him and turned them into audiobooks for you to enjoy complete with some art I've put together with Photoshop and as a side note the audiobooks are not split into chapters like the Harry Potter ones are.

New Uploads :)

Hey guys,

So it has been awhile since I've posted anything here on Nero's Lair and I've got a little something to share with you all.

First to say that I'm currently writing some new reviews for Asura's Wrath, Fist of the North Star Ken's Rage & Ken's Rage 2 and some selections from my DVD collection and I will also do one for the upcoming film Pacific Rim.

Going back to Ken's Rage 2 for a moment, the soundtrack has proved to be difficult to find anywhere either through online shops or as a download anywhere on the internet.

But after much searching I've found it...

So yeah as an exclusive to Nero's Lair, The complete soundtrack for Ken's Rage 2 will be uploaded within the next few hours complete with full track list and album art put together with Photoshop like the soundtrack from Ken's Rage.

Ok I'm currently in the process of fixing all the download links here on Nero's Lair and I'm sorry that this has taken longer than I thought (due to Megaupload shutting down and most file sharing sites being difficult). On the upside I have a few reviews which will finally be up in the week along with some new stuff to make up for the time I've been away and apart from that I've also had a few personal issues to deal with over the past few months so again apologies for that

Due to the work I have to get done for college, the new reviews that I've been writing have taken a back seat but I hope to have the time to finish and upload them fairly soon.

Just a little announcement

Just as a heads-up in the next few weeks I'll be posting the soundtracks and drama CDs for Corpse Party as well as the OST from the sequel Book of Shadows.
